Maria Galiani
Principal Interior Designer
Galiani Design Group, a boutique interior design firm out of McLean Virginia was founded by Maria Galiani in 2008. Specializing in high end residential design, Maria is known for transforming the design process into one cohesive flow which allows for creating exclusive and memorable environments which showcase a clients' personality and passions.
Typically beginning with the architectural layout review, then working through the building or renovation process with the selection of all interior specifications, Maria's more than 28 years experience and relationship based approach, allow her to instinctively interpret her clients preferences to create warm, comfortable spaces with a tremendous amount of personal style. Captivating architectural details, rich colors and a variety of textures combined with her unique ability to add antique and vintage “finds", reflect Maria's inspiring European travels and her exposure to the richness of various cultures and classic architectural design. Love of classic and timeless details combined with new design innovations combine to incorporate an artful combination of materials and treasured pieces into each project, a hallmark of Galiani Design Group.
Originally from North Carolina, where she received her BS in Interior Design from Meredith College, Maria currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband Kirk, their three boys: Zac, Christian and Jackson and their dog Bailey.
Kayla Williams
Design Associate
Kayla Williams joined GDG in early 2021. She was born and raised in Fairfax County, Virginia and later attended The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, where she swam as a Division 1 athlete and All American. Kayla currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, Ryan, and their three children, Beau, Camden, and Quinn. She is the perfect addition to Galiani Design Group, being a lover of all things design and fashion, an avid foodie and wine connoisseur.
Kayla and Maria enjoy working together fulfilling their client's dreams of uniquely beautiful, and functionally livable spaces. Each project, they create something memorable and perfectly fitting to the personalities of their diverse clients.
